We have a good news/bad news floor update.
The bad news: It's going to take the installer 2-21/2 weeks to do the first floor and then he's thinking he'll do the second floor after Christmas. The wood has to sit here about 5 days before they get started.That would be pretty much all of advent and the Christmas season with my house looking and feeling and SOUNDING like a construction zone.

The good news: The installer's name is Jesus. If you're going to spend Advent and Christmas with a stranger in your house, it's good his name is Jesus, huh?
