Our
many and varied discussions of ladylike loveliness have led to yet another conversation.
Dawn,
Kim,
Meredith and I have brainstormed a list of "lovely topics" for
Loveliness Fairs throughout the year. Below are the topics scheduled through December. Stay tuned for next year's list. Please take a look and see if there is a carnival you would like to host. Email me (
elizNOSPAMfoss@aol.com take out the "no spam") to let me know. And then start planning for your contribution to each of these fairs.

Hi Elizabeth-
I have this exact same piece! It was my mil's. Her dh bought it for her years and years ago for $10. She always called it a secretary. What do you call it?

We call it a secretary. It was the first piece of furniture my mother bought as a bride. I've always loved it and it was the first thing I asked for when she moved!

I just found your lovely blog and was wondering how to access the "Fairs" - I click on the links of the hostesses, but I can't find the entries concerning loveliness or elegant simplicity. Help!

Kitty,
You'll find all the fairs thus far linked on the lefthand sidebar of this blog under the title:

Are we still doing the Loveliness of babies? I totally understand if we're not, but I was just wondering. Hope your little one is letting you all get some rest!
