1/4 cup butter
3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 small jalapeno minced
2 teaspoons tumeric powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
2 pounds green beans, trimmed
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon salt
In a large saute pan, heat butter or oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, peppers, tumeric, cumin, and cayenne, and cook, stirring, until the garlic begins to turn golden, about 2 minutes. Add the green beans, water, salt, and stir well. Cover and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the beans are tender, 4 to 5 minutes.
This recipe looks good, I am going to try the Spicy green beans with garlic.
